Team Play.

They can pick up the ideas, then stare at a butterfly, and then surprise you with their wide smile when they perform a small miracle. Don’t sweat the details at this age. Front, back, sides. Which goal to aim at. It is all good.

You have more influence than you think. Let them go home with “My coach says I need to eat my vegetables at dinner and an apple before practices. . .” and other ways to drive the parents crazy.
